2011 Photography Classes
I’m excited to be teaching wildflower or garden photography classes in several places in 2011. Some classes concentrate on using your digital SLR and others on getting the most from your pocket camera. If you’ve been in one of my classes before you know that I spend lots of time with each student, answering questions, suggesting ways to improve, and providing positive and thoughtful critiques. Tell your friends, and encourage them to sign up for one of my classes this coming year.
May 6-7: Wildflower Photography, Vancouver, Washington. Sponsored by the Suksdorfia Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society. Format is a Friday evening lecture with a Saturday all-day field session ending with a group critique.
May 22: Pocket Camera Flower Photography, Seattle, Washington. Sponsored by the Burke Museum. Format is an all-day workshop beginning with an illustrated lecture at 8:30 am at the Burke Museum followed by a field session in the nearby University of Washington Medicinal Herb Garden and concluding with a group critique back at the Burke.

Look for complete price and registration details in the next newsletter. As of December 12 none of the sponsoring organizations had their 2011 course schedules online yet. If you have questions before that feel free to give me a call or send an e-mail.
Special thanks to my friend and fellow Professional Photographers of Washington member Cindy Brown for the photo of me teaching a class for PPW members last fall.
