Turner Photographics Studio

We opened the studio at this location in the summer of 2014 after remodeling a building constructed in 1928 as a feed store. I documented the remodel project on my blog.

When you visit the studio you’ll first enter our reception and sales room. It’s a comfortable space to relax before your session. This is also where we project your portraits so you can choose your favorites during your viewing and purchasing appointment.

The camera room is spacious, with a beautiful oak floor, multiple backdrops, and a spiral staircase to the office upstairs.

The studio is equipped with a full set of professional lighting gear to handle anything from individual portraits to large groups, as well as small product photography. We also hold classes and workshops in the camera room. If you need a meeting space for up to 25 people, ask us about rentals.

At the back of the camera room there’s a small sink for beverage service. We also have a large and comfortable combination rest room and dressing room. Just out the back door is our large portrait garden and 3-acre woodland for outdoor portraits.

We’re one of the few photography businesses in Whatcom County that offers a full-service studio experience. That’s one of the things that sets us apart from everyone else with a camera. Indoors or out, we can meet your needs.
