Mima Mounds is in Thurston County, just a few miles south of Olympia, Washington. It is a remnant of mounded prairie that was once more common in the south Puget Sound area. The prairie is at its most floriferous in the spring, but is worth visiting year-round. A paved interpretive trail makes it easy to enjoy.
