Amaryllis Stamens

The sexual parts of flowers, pollen-bearing stamens and receptor pistal, often take bizarre and beautiful forms. Sometimes they're so tiny they are nearly impossible to see. These amaryllis stamens were a lot bigger, but I got in really close and made them bigger than life on the original 35mm slide.
